This movie was the 1980 Best Picture Academy Award winning movie. I did not like this movie. It was about a dysfunctional family and ended nowhere.
The origin of the title, I guess, is supposed to indicate that the dysfunctional family in normal and ordinary. I don’t agree but maybe my non-weird family is not ordinary?
